AI Usage Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Harmont Intelligence LLC builds Pricing Beacon, an operational pricing intelligence system, and operates Carmel Go and an in-house AI assistant ("Guta"). This page explains where AI is actually involved, which models we use, what data they see, and whether that data trains anything.

1. Pricing Beacon does not use AI on your data

Pricing Beacon itself — the core product your organization uses to collect, structure, and review pricing data — is a structured data system, not an AI system. It does not run your pricing or business data through any language model. The only place AI appears on Pricing Beacon's pages is the optional "talk to Guta" pre-sales assistant, described below, which only ever talks to website visitors, never to your organization's pricing data.

2. Guta — our own AI assistant

Guta answers calls, chat, and messages on harmont.io itself (and is the technology behind Carmel Go's AI dispatch agent — see Section 4). It uses:

FunctionProvider / model
Speech-to-text (call transcription)Deepgram (nova-3)
Language model (understanding + response generation)Google Gemini (2.5 Flash)
Text-to-speech / speech-to-speechGoogle Gemini (native audio / Gemini TTS)

Only what's needed to carry the conversation is sent to these providers: the audio or text of the current call/chat, and any context necessary to answer. We do not send unrelated personal data, and we don't send data to a model that isn't actively handling that conversation.

3. Is this data used to train models?

No. Conversation data handled by Guta is not used by Harmont, or knowingly provided to our AI vendors, to train models — ours or theirs.

4. Carmel Go

Carmel Go's AI dispatch agent is built on the same underlying technology as Guta. Its data-handling specifics (couriers, riders, WhatsApp) are covered in its own Privacy Policy.

5. Who is responsible for final decisions

AI-generated responses (from Guta or Carmel Go) can occasionally misunderstand a request or make an error. Anyone relying on an AI-generated summary, order, or appointment detail should treat it as assistance, not a substitute for their own judgment.
